- I just bought my Courier v.Everything from USR a month ago. I've since
- found that there is a new flashrom upgrade (including caller id &
- distinctive ringing). However, upon trying to download it from their
- BBS, I discovered that since I was calling from outside the US, that it
- would not send it to me. Perhapes I'll get lucky and they would've fixed
- that DTR bug in it that nobody from USR wants to respond to me about.
-
- What kind of rubbish is this? I realise that they are trying to keep it
- out of the hands of owners with non-US Couriers, but Canadian ones
- as well? They're the same modem. (ie: there is no separate one for
- Canadians since these _are_ the US modems that they send us)
-
- I think someone from USR should update their area code database to
- include us Canadians in the upgrade.
-
- In the meantime, could someone please email me the SDL? (or preferably
- point me to a *cough* ftp site that may have it). I promise not to pass
- on the info of where I get it.
-
- Thanks.
